Small Business Owners Guide to the CARES Act

The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act that was just passed by Congress is intended to assist small business owners and individuals with their immediate needs during this unprecedented time. It includes many resources such as:

-Paycheck Protection Program (capital to cover the cost of retaining employees)

-Emergency Economic Injury Disaster Grants (quick, small infusion of cash to cover immediate needs)

-Small Business Debt Relief Program (assistance with payments on SBA loans)

-Counseling, Tax Provisions and More

While there are many questions about CARES, this guide put together by the U.S. Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship is an excellent resource that provides helpful information about the major programs and initiatives being offered.

We recommend all boutiques check it out as a starting point.
