The ninth annual National Bridal Summer Event is officially set for July 13-20 with several new features and options offered by the industry technology company SYVO, who acquired the event from founder Sue Maslowski late last year.

“We’re excited to announce several new aspects to the event,” explained Peter Sunseri, SYVO president. “The site is receiving a complete design overhaul to enhance the experience for participating retailers and brides. Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for brides to find their dream dress at an affordable price, while also enabling retailers with resources and tools to enhance visibility and increase sales.”

Retailers can have their own listing page on the NBSE website for free, and the site will provide a variety of resources and connections for all brides.

The NBSE is officially being operated by SYVO,  a technology partner to over 600 bridal shops across the world with a focus on helping stores offer the best experience possible in the digital world of today.

“Taking the reins of the National Bridal Summer Event is a privilege,” explained Mike Ebrahimi, SYVO founder and CEO. “We're dedicated to respecting Sue's hard work and vision by elevating the event to its fullest potential. Together with our extensive bridal shop network, we'll make it an event to remember for brides and our valued partners.”

Maslowski, owner of the second generation bridal and prom store Jay West in New Jersey and founder of the event, retired in November of last year and decided to turn the helm over to SYVO after eight years of operation.

“After several conversations with Mike I knew the NBSE has a strong future as he and his company can take NBSE further than I did in the past eight years, and can fulfill my dream of a nationwide universal program for brides, stores and manufacturers,” she explained.

“I cannot thank each and every one of you enough for all of the hours of time, money and dedication you have been willing to give me year after year to make the NBSE a program that has changed the industry for the better.  I truly appreciate each and everyone of you for everything,” she added.
