Premier bridalwear designer Allure Bridals, in collaboration with Netflix, Shondaland, and Emmy award-winning costume designer Lyn Paolo, launched the highly-anticipated 2024 Bridgerton Wedding Collection at an exclusive event and fashion show at The Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens in San Marino, CA.

The collection features bridal gowns designed by Lyn Paolo and inspired by Shondaland’s hit Netflix series Bridgerton and Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story. Fans can experience the Bridgerton Wedding 360 fashion show by signing up at https://bridgertonwedding360.arthouse.ar.

"The Bridgerton Wedding Collection release is exciting for us on many levels,” asserts Allure Bridals Global Brand Director Nikki Deeds, on-hand to offer commentary during the fashion show.

“We consider it absolutely necessary to push boundaries in order to elevate and enrich our brand portfolio. And ‘Bridgerton’ is such a phenomenon! When the opportunity arose, it aligned perfectly with our current trajectory and future goals. I talk a lot about championing ideas and the need for constant motion, or continual evolution in the bridal and formalwear industries. These ideas are so crucial to Allure’s continuing pursuit of innovation, creativity, and outstanding design."

Celebrities in attendance of the first-look celebration included Lyn Paolo (Emmy award-winning costume designer), Shonda Rhimes (Bridgerton Executive Producer / Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story Creator), Katie Lowes (Actress, Scandal / Merry Kiss Cam), Salvador Perez (Costume Designer), Bryant (Celebrity Photographer), Taylen Biggs (Influencer), Brit Harvey (Influencer), and more.

Allure Bridals Chief Marketing Officer Raquel Cadourcy, reflecting on the event and the significance of the launch, commented that "the ‘Bridgerton’ partnership in and of itself is such an incredible opportunity. Netflix and Shondaland are a dream to work with! And this week's LA-based runway promenade featured outstanding brand partners and set design. The collection is Regency-inspired, of course, so every detail of the event was curated to delight and transport our guests into the past. Lovers of the Bridgerverse experienced custom cocktails, tea service, exquisite florals — and even hidden gems like a surprise visit from augmented reality furry guest, Newton the corgi.”

Attendees arrived in style dressed in Regency Era-inspired cocktail attire and were greeted with custom cocktails by Williams Sonoma upon arrival. The runway promenade was decorated with beautiful floral arches, as well as gift bags inclusive of makeup from Pat McGrath Labs and assorted tea tins from Republic of Tea. Deeds welcomed the crowd and introduced Lyn Paolo who thanked her friend and Shondaland CEO, Shonda Rhimes, in an emotional speech before the models hit the runway.

Models wearing makeup done by KIKO Milano Cosmetics and wearing the bridal gowns in the collection walked down the runway while a string quartet played iconic music that was featured on Bridgerton. Bridgerton will return for an ultra-sexy, lavish season 3 in 2024. The season will be split into two 4-episode parts, with Part 1 premiering on May 16, 2024, followed by Part 2 on June 13, 2024 on Netflix. Attendees also enjoyed a Bridgerton-themed reception which featured libations from Williams Sonoma, Tea Service from Republic of Tea, a custom photo booth by Bryant, augmented reality experiences by Art House, and much more.
