The National Bridal Retailers Association (NBRA) has joined the Board of the newly formed North American Formalwear Apparel Association (NAFAA), created earlier this year as a collective voice to lobby on behalf of the industry to ensure trade policies, tariffs and regulations reflect the realities of the formalwear business.

Sandra Gonzalez, vice president of the NBRA and owner of Sparkle Bridal Couture, Sacramento, Calif., joins existing board members Kelly Crum, Allure Bridals, Justin Warshaw, Justin Alexander, Steve Lang, Mon Cheri Bridals, and Peter Grimes, VOWS magazine.

“As a united voice for bridal retailers, the NBRA remains committed to fighting for policies that positively impact our businesses and the brides we serve,” explained Gonzalez. “Through this alliance, NBRA will support all efforts that advance the success and sustainability of the bridal and formalwear retail industry. We stand ready to collaborate with the NAFAA to advocate and champion fair trade policies that protect our future and uphold the values of our industry.”

Membership in the NAFAA is open to manufacturer/brands of formalwear and accessories, boutiques, and industry associates. Visit https://nafaa.com/ for NAFAA details, and https://nafaa.com/join for membership application.
