This August, National Bridal Market Chicago commemorates five decades of influence in bridal design and retail with a series of special events and curated exhibitions during Market
Highlights of the August 16-18 Market include “5 Decades of Bridal,” a special lobby exhibition celebrating the evolution of bridal fashion through the years. Featuring curated vintage gowns and signature designs from both past and present National Bridal Market Chicago exhibitors, the display showcases defining bridal trends from each decade while honoring the designers and brands that have helped shape the industry over the last 50 years.
Throughout Market, archival bridal magazine covers will also be displayed across the show, offering a nostalgic look at the industry’s evolution.
The 50th Anniversary Black Tie Masquerade Gala will be held Monday, August 17, 2026, from 7:00–10:00 PM at Offshore Rooftop at Navy Pier (1000 E. Grand Avenue). Guests are invited to arrive in black-tie attire and masquerade masks for an elegant evening of skyline and lake views, live music and dancing, an open bar, and curated cuisine. Attendees will be greeted with special surprises and welcomed on a red carpet for interviews. Tickets are required; transportation will be provided.
The National Bridal Market Chicago is the largest premier tradeshow for Bridal and Special Occasion, showcasing the latest styles from the industry’s top designers.
