Morilee’s  Amy & Eve bridal collection, which debuted at recent Markets, was created to honor two of its founding women, Evlynn and Amy Udell.

Designed by Creative Director Madeline Gardner, the new collection is priced from $1000-1600 retail, and reimagines classic bridal style as the company enters its 70-year milestone.

“Amy & Eve feels fresh and feminine with understated details that place our brides center stage,” explained Gardner. “These classically cool dresses are effortless yet stylish, inspiring confidence an beauty from within.

“Like Evlynn, the collection namesake, who looked chic and elegant no matter the occasion, these designs are perfect for both the carefree, jeans and t-shirt wearing bride, or the one who loves full-on glamour.”

As one of Morilee founders, Evlynn started the business in 1953 when few women were business owners. Her forward thinking and ambitious spirit were the driving force behind the evolutions of Morilee from the early days in the heart of New York City’s garment district, to becoming a global authority in today’s formalwear industry.

Evlynn’s driven spirit was passed on to daughter, Amy, who proudly carried on her mother and father’s legacy until her passing in June 2015.
