A letter from Private Label by G/Kenneth Winston founder and president Ty Yeh today announced the closing of the company due to the “decision to retire ourselves, our family and our business Kenneth Winston.”

Effectively immediately, the company will continue to accept and process to completion all re-orders until July 31, 2024, with all orders processed and shipped to stores by September 30, 2024.

Additionally starting May 1, all orders must be paid in full as shipped, and payment terms are no longer available.

“We want each of you to know that we are here for you and your brides until the very last gown is shipped,” wrote Yeh. “We will not abandon you or any brides during this transition. We will treasure each and every bride’s ‘dream come true moment’ until we are done.”

To our valued friends and business partners,

Back in 1984, a small business named Private Label by G emerged on the scene as a new and upcoming designing manufacturer to the Bridal Industry.

We quickly evolved, because of the love and loyalty of our retail partners like you, into what is now one of the largest and longest standing bridals manufactures since then. We continued to reinvent ourselves in 2014 as we rebranded ourselves to become who you now know us as, Kenneth Winston.

Along the way we have been blessed with an overwhelming abundance of incredibly deep, rewarding, and long-lasting relationships with thousands of incredible people and businesses. We have shared what has seemed like an endless amount of business and social events that to this day are forever etched in who and what Kenneth Winston has become to everyone, including our family.

Forty years have now gone by since 1984 and we cannot overstate the joy and love we have experienced in making brides wedding days as magical as possible with stunning styling, as well as customized one-of-a-kind styles, with incredible quality and attention to detail. It has truly been a dream come true life experience for us and our family.

With all the treasured history we have enjoyed over the past 40 years, however, we have made the heart tugging decision to retire ourselves, our family, and our business Kenneth Winston.

We would be remiss if we did not mention how difficult a decision this has been for us to come to as Private Label by G and Kenneth Winston has been who we are for more than half of our lives.

We will miss all of you and will treasure you all as we make the transition to our new chapter in life of retirement.
