Lili Bridals celebrates 60 years of success and service

Lili Bridals’, a third generation bridal and social occasion salon renowned for its professionalism, integrity and service to the greater Los Angeles area, commemorated its 60th anniversary with an epic event that noted its long history while celebrating what’s yet to come.

The event, held Sept. 5 at the Lili Bridals Tarzana, Ca, store, was overflowing with friends, family, vendors, sales reps, and former
brides… including several from the 1970’s whose gowns purchased at Lili Bridals were on display in the front window display. Many of the women in attendance purchased their gown from Lili Bridals as well as their daughters!

Lisa Litt, third generation, daughter of Sol and Ruth Litt and president of Lili Bridals, Inc., was visibly overwhelmed by the outpouring of memories, support and gratitude from those in attendance, and by the willingness and participation of her party’s sponsors.

“This is an incredible day for Lili Bridals,” said Litt, “and for the entire extended Lili Bridals family… brides, designers and staff… each of who has had an important role in our success.”

Well thought out and executed details of the event included informal modeling, passed hors d'oeuvres; a Bellini bar, custom cookies with the Lili 60th Anniversary logo; Vintage bridal fashions dating from the 1950's (when the store first opened its doors); The Knot-sponsored swag bags that included a custom Lili cell phone ring; a Step-and-Repeat wall with red carpet and velvet rope; photo booth, and local DJ that kept the crowd on its feet dancing late into the evening.

A highlight of the event was when a representative from Los Angeles’ Mayor Eric Garcetti’s office delivered a certificate commemorating “60
years of service to the greater Los Angeles area.”

Vendors participating with Lili Bridals included Unique Floral Designs, BBJ Linen, Sweet Art Bake Shop, Colors Dress, Wtoo Monica Linda Photography, Lace and Lapel Video, Hask Hair, Percy Sales Events, KimeryEvents and DJ Pashent.

The event was not entirely a celebration of the past, and of recognizing those that helped Litt continue the salon’s impressive growth and
longevity. It also was an occasion to announce that Lili Bridals is now a Wtoo Flagship store.

The announcement included informal modeling of the Wtoo Fall Collection, presented by Watters representative Vanessa Stone, who also assisted the
models and created a trunk show event within the anniversary celebration.

Lili Bridals was established in 1958 by Sol Litt, who established the store for Lisa’s beloved grandmother Lili and continues to be guided by the traditional business values and exceptional customer service by which it was founded.

Featuring a large showroom filled with a well-edited inventory by top wedding dress designers, Lili Bridals also offers mother-of-the-bride dresses, mother of the groom dresses, bridesmaids, eveningwear, bar/bat mitzvahs, and for many other “heavenly” occasions.

Its second store, Della Curva, located on the second floor, is dedicated to full figured, curvy brides, and is co-owned and managed with Litt's
husband Burt Warner.
