Clarisse to collaborate with Jessica McClintock on special occasion, bridal collections

Jessica McClintock, the eponymous designer of special occasion fashion, accessories, fragrance and home décor, has chosen Clarisse Inc. to develop and produce her special occasion collections, including a destination bridal collection, according to Kerry Glasser, president of Concept Marketing Group, McClintock’s brand and licensing agent.

The new Jessica McClintock special occasion collection by Clarisse for destination bridal will launch online and in stores Fall 2019, with additional special occasion segments to be introduced to the consumer in Spring 2020, all of which will embrace the Jessica McClintock signature of modern and fresh design with a fearless attitude that never goes out of style.

“After conducting an extensive process to determine the optimal partner for Jessica, we are pleased to have Daniel Adrian, founder and president of Clarisse, as Jessica McClintock’s special occasion apparel partner. Under the terms of the just executed licensing agreement, Clarisse will develop and sell all of Jessica McClintock special occasion collections.

Adrian added that the decision to partner with Jessica was "very easy for me. She is an entrepreneur and visionary. Our goals are aligned in that we both want to make women more beautiful and confident. Our creative approach will complement the fashion-forward, trend-right styles that Jessica McClintock is known for and will further reinforce her position in the apparel world as an authority of modern design. This new license agreement underscores our longstanding commitment to grow and diversify our business. We are extremely optimistic about the prospect of building Jessica McClintock.”

Jessica McClintock stated, “After making the strategic decision to cease my in-house production of prom and bridalwear four years ago, the consistent outpouring of inquiries from my devoted customers about where to purchase my gowns made it clear we needed to reengage these categories.

“I am so pleased Daniel and Clarisse will be working to create Jessica McClintock social. We share a love of fabric, detailing, the design/quality/value equation and the knowledge of how important the touch and movement of the design is,” McClintock added.

Glasser was not surprised, “After all, Jessica has been the value-seeking customer’s leading go to choice for these most important moments. Jessica creates an emotional connection with her dedicated multi-generational customers — one that is difficult to find with other designers today. This emotional connection and enchanted lifestyle are consistently at the heart of Jessica’s success, and are rooted in McClintock’s brand DNA and embodied in all of her apparel and home fashions.”

“Clarisse’s strength in special occasion is phenomenal. The company has developed a loyal following that will align well with Jessica’s demographic. Daniel’s business acumen for this category has allowed him to create outstanding designs at various levels and retail segments, both in store and online,” added Glasser.

Jessica’s fashions range from girls’ social dressing to the complete spectrum of prom, evening, bridesmaid, casual bridal and mother-of-the-bride for women.

"As a forerunner of women’s empowerment, Jessica’s brand and message are even more relevant today. Jessica is the designer trusted over the years by girls, teens and women for the most cherished days of their lives,” said Glasser.
