Dessy unveils programs to support stores

    The Dessy Group has announced several programs to enable stores to match its online dress prices and those quoted on other direct sale websites, while protecting keystone mark-up for in-store sales.
    Available for qualifying stores, these options include merchandise discounts and sales incentives, and coincide with the release of the Dessy Minimum Advertising Policy requirement in May, which limits the discount promoted by stores and online sellers to a maximum of 15-percent off suggested retail prices.
    In addition to the Studio Design collection (a store-only, no Internet selling group of maids’ dresses) and the new sales incentive program, Dessy will tailor a program individually for brick-and-mortar stores to ensure that they will make keystone margin when matching the new MAP online price.
    “To qualify for this program a store need only call me direct for an account review,” Alan Dessy said.
